Dr Zheng Yen Ng is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Queensland Aphasia Research Centre (QARC) in the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS). He conducts research investigating health and aged care service provision for families with communication disability: hearing loss, aphasia, and dementia. He has a particular interest in working with families with diverse language and cultural backgrounds. His PhD thesis looked at family-centred care in early intervention audiology and speech-language pathology services for families of children with hearing loss with diverse language and cultural backgrounds.
