Research and innovation leaders for industry (2007–2010)

Abstract:
This project will provide an evidence-base upon which to evaluate research training programs to produce future research and innovation leaders. It aims to advance theoretical and policy debates in the higher education sector about researh graduates' required skill base and research values by exploring their experiences of postdoctoral employment. The project will focus on CRC research training programs because they represent Australia's most concerted efort to produce 'industry-ready' graduates. Expected outcomes include the systematic evaluation of graduates' industry-related attributes, the development of new research training packages and a research-based model from which to develop research training quality indicators.'',
