Faculty of Medicine

Dr Enaam Alghamdi is a research fellow at the Frazer Institute, situated within the Translational Research Institute (TRI). She completed her PhD under the guidance of Professor Paul Clarke at the Frazer Institute (formerly known as UQ Diamantina Institute). Her current research in cancer cell biology focuses on understanding cellular responses to cancer chemotherapy, particularly assessing the effector pathways that govern cell fate in response to antimitotic chemotherapeutics. Her research contributes significantly to the identification of critical targets within cancer cells, which paves the way for the development of novel therapeutic strategies to enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in cancer treatment.
