Dr Georgie Harwood is a qualitative researcher in Public Health (health promotion) and education with over eight years of research experience with communities from refugee backgrounds. She has been a researcher in the education system, NGO sector and academia. Her research interests involve addressing structural/system inequalities to improve health and educational outcomes for communities from refugee backgrounds. Dr Harwood is a former school educator who brings this knowledge and skills to her higher education teaching in health promotion and qualitative methods.
