Overview

Alexandria Gain is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Innovation Pathways Program, FaBA (Australia’s Food and Beverage Accelerator), The University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. Alexandria holds a PhD in marketing, a Bachelor of Business Management (Honours Class I), and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Queensland. Her research focuses on sustainable consumption and production systems, with a particular focus on understanding the role of consumer behaviour and responsible business in contributing to a sustainable future.

Her current work investigates sustainable consumption and production across a range of contexts – including the role of product packaging and waste reduction strategies on consumer decision-making, consumer empowerment in digital investment platforms, and sustainable service orchestration – and has been presented at a number of national and international conferences, such as the Australia and New Zealand Marketing Academy (ANZMAC), Academy of Marketing Science (AMS), and Research Innovations in Sustainable Marketing (RISM) conferences.
