Overview

Hesamoddin Rabiee received his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Iran and his MPhil from The University of Adelaide, Australia, in 2017 with the Dean’s Commendation for research excellence. He received his PhD from The University of Queensland in 2022 with Prof. Zhiguo Yuan at the Advanced Water Management Centre, in collaboration with the School of Chemical Engineering. Currently, he is a postdoc researcher at UQ joint with USQ working on CO2 electrocatalysis.

Research Impacts

His research interests revolve around the design and development of advanced materials for energy applications and green technologies such as electrochemistry, gas electrocatalysis (e.g. CO2), membrane separation, CO2 capture, and desalination.
