Overview

Dr. Eleonore Lebre specialises in Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) risks in the global mining industry. Her work connects with topical issues such as tailings dam failures, critical minerals and metals for the low-carbon energy transition. Eleonore's broader research interests include mine closure, circular economy in mining, industrial ecology, mining-induced displacement and resettlement, sustainability reporting, and social incident investigation.
