Overview

Research Interests

  • Reproductive health and Assisted Reproductive Technology
    Reproductive conditions such as endometriosis, adenomyosis and polycystic ovary syndrome. Fertility and assisted reproduction technology (ART) such as in vitro fertilisation (IVF) and intrauterine insemination (IUI).
  • Maternal predictors of child health and development
    Associations between maternal physical and psychosocial wellbeing and children's physical health, psychosocial health, and neurodevelopment. This includes diet, physical activity, screen time, early infant feeding including breastfeeding and maternal mental health across the life course.
  • The consequences of injury and trauma
    The effects of traumatic incidents on the health and wellbeing of the individual and their family, including the importance of better integrating medical and psychological care.
  • Developmental origins of health and disease
    Prenatal predictors of postnatal child health and development, including prenatal stress
