The National hydrogen materials reference facility (ARC LIEF Administered by Griffith University) (2009)

Abstract:
The basis for progress in hydrogen energy technology is new materials for the generation of hydrogen from water or fossil-fuel sources, the storage of hydrogen for domestic, industrial and transport applications, the distribution of hydrogen to end users and the oxidation of hydrogen to release electrical or thermal energy. The aim of the National Hydrogen Materials Reference Facility is to support excellent research in Australia whose goal is the advancement and implementation of hydrogen energy technology, through access to authoritative and scarce instruments and techniques for characterising the performance of new and advanced functional materials.
