Prototype test of direct carbon fuel cells (2013–2017)

Abstract:
Direct carbon fuel cells are a novel technology which can directly produce electricity from coal by fuel cells reaction with potential to double the energy efficiency compared with the conventional coal-fired power plant. This project aims to conduct prototype tests of direct carbon fuel cells based upon the current scale up test.
