Dynamic Magnetic Resonance Imaging In Orthopaedics (2010–2013)

Abstract:
This application intends to develop new hardware and methods for the dynamic imaging of joints using Magnetic Resonance Imaging. The novel hardware and methods will allow new insight be to achieved into the function of joints under motion and load and is applicable to both Chronic disease such as Osteoarthritis and to acute injuries such as torn cartilage and ligaments. This technology will provide unique ability in Australia and draws together experts in Biomedical Engineering and musculo-skeletal imaging.
