Does PTRF-cavin control endothelial cell migration and angiogenesis? (2010–2012)

Abstract:
Angiogenesis, the formation of new blood vessels from preexisting ones, plays an important role in multiple diseases including cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes but also coronary infarction, stroke, or wound healing. We will determine whether PTRF, a protein with newly discovered function, is important for the formation of new blood vessels, and can be the target of new drugs to treat these diseases.
